Welcome to Monarch Boulevard
Built in 1922, this historic home on the westside of Detroit serves as a retreat and gathering space. It features global fusion decor, a monarch waystation, and pollinator garden.
Monarch Boulevard is a site of transformation, well-being, and renewal.
Monarch Boulevard is a bright, open, plant-rich creative venue located inside a historic home that also houses Nia Weaving’s Tigerseye Creative Studio and a private residence.
Designed for community gathering and individual renewal, the gathering space is grounded in principles of beauty, collective care for all living beings, and comfort.
We have a certified monarch waystation on site, pollinator garden grounds, and proceeds from all guest rentals support carbon removal. The space features global-fusion textiles and community-centered decor, Eero mesh WiFi, and flexible layouts and equipment for all guest needs.
We host all types of values-aligned events, including media production, small gatherings, workshops, meetings, ceremonies, and celebrations. We especially enjoy hosting retreats and transformative events for nonprofits, community organizations, and social change leaders.
By request, Monarch Boulevard is also available for overnight retreats. We are a zero-alcohol, substance-free venue and there is a senior cat in residence.
