Ramadan Dreaming: Vision Board Party
What is your personal vision for Ramadan? In this workshop, we will create vision boards using an intentionally curated set of images to thoughtfully reflect on how we want to show up during Ramadan and beyond—in spiritual practice, in relationships, and in our responsibilities to our communities. Together, we will create boards grounded in spiritual clarity, alignment, and purposeful intention, while engaging in meaningful dialogue and reflection around our goals for the month.
Create your own vision board with the Ramadan 2026 edition of the Nia Weaving Vision Board Kit and join Ustadha Hazel Gomez, Nia Weaving CEO Namira Islam, and Dream of Detroit Deputy Director Janae L. Wilson for a women-only gathering rooted in sisterhood, reflection, and collective intention-setting.
Registration is $15/person and includes your own vision board kit. A Nia Weaving Vision Board Kit includes a blank board, the image book with full-color one-sided 8.5 x 11 pages, & your own keepsake set of scissors - choose from artistic stork scissors or an ergonomic black/gold pair. Glue, tape, and sharpies will be provided for the group. Light dinner is also included, with halal and vegetarian options offered.
This in-person workshop will be hosted at Nia Weaving’s Monarch Boulevard, a creative studio, gathering space, and residence on the city’s westside. Address confirmation will be in the email after registration. All proceeds will benefit Dream of Detroit, a nonprofit combining community organizing with strategic housing and land development to build a healthy community and revitalize our neighborhood on the Westside of Detroit.
Accessibility notes: there is a cat in residence who will be secured upstairs. There are 6 steps total to enter the home. Free parking is available on site.
Register below and select your choice of keepsake scissors. Complete checkout in the top right corner and download your registration ticket for address and further details.
